Demand for holiday homes in Portugal rose to a peak in second quarter of 2021.
As it became known to analysts of Chameleon Real Estate, the demand for the purchase of private homes in Portugal increased by 20% in the second quarter of 2021.
Such a high demand for private homes is caused by the fact that British citizens began to buy up private homes in the south of Portugal en masse.
According to Chameleon Real Estate expert Elena Kravchenko, many wealthy British citizens are afraid of repeating strict restrictions and complete self-isolation in the UK, so they buy spacious private holiday homes in the south of Portugal.
The average investment in residential real estate in Portugal in the second quarter of 2021 was about 500-700 thousand Euro.
