Due to the lack of tourists in Prague prices for long term rental apartments began to fall.
As it became known to analysts of Chameleon Real Estate, the rent for apartments in Prague in the second quarter of 2021 fell by 10%.
According to our analyst Elena Kravchenko, this trend will continue until the end of 2021, as due to covid constraints tourists are still afraid to visit Prague.
In this regard many landlords who rent their apartments for daily rent abruptly switched to long term rental of their apartments. So according to Elena Kravchenko only for the period from March to May in Prague, more than 9 000 apartments were available for rent.
In conclusion she added that the fall in apartment rental prices in Prague will continue until the borders of the European Union countries resume their normal operation.
